Tragedy struck in Lagos on Wednesday night, September 3, 2025, after a 26-year-old budding interior designer, Deborah Moses, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche, was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend.

The suspect, identified as Lintex from Otukpo, Benue State, was said to have disguised himself as a dispatch rider before scaling the fence of her residence to gain access. Reports claim he first attempted to cut her gas pipe in a failed effort to trigger an explosion, before eventually breaking into her apartment and stabbing her multiple times.

According to Deborah’s sister, the pair had ended their relationship more than a year ago, but Lintex continued stalking her, often threatening her life. “If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I don’t marry you, blood will flow,” he allegedly told her on several occasions.

Neighbors managed to restrain the suspect after the attack and handed him over to the police.

Friends and loved ones have since taken to social media to mourn Deborah and demand justice.

“Debrah Porsche, death do you this one my dear. May your killer know no peace. You were such a hardworking lady with great plans for your future. Kai, ground don swallow this one,” Vera Gabriel wrote.

Another friend, Ode Isaiah Ijuwo, said: “The only crime she committed was to love a monster. Lintex Ogale, God will judge you. All the pain you have put upon us will never depart from you. Debrah Porsche, forgive me, I wasn't there to save you, I’m sorry.”

The shocking incident has once again raised serious concerns about domestic violence and the dangers of stalking, especially in cases where women attempt to walk away from abusive relationships.
