A touching video has captured the emotional moment a Nigerian apprentice, popularly known as Nwa Boy, was rewarded by his boss with a brand-new fashion store as his settlement package.
In the viral clip, the young man was unsuspectingly led into the shop by his boss and others, only to be told that the fully furnished store was his reward for years of loyalty and hard work.
Overwhelmed, the apprentice broke down in tears of joy while onlookers praised him for his dedication and also hailed the boss for keeping his promise and honouring the Igbo apprenticeship system.
The video has stirred emotional reactions online, with many Nigerians applauding the cultural practice that helps young people start their own businesses after years of service.
