A young Ghanaian woman has stirred massive reactions online after invoking a curse on her partner, warning that any woman who marries him in her place would face the wrath of the gods.
In a viral video, the woman claimed that she and her partner had entered a covenant never to separate, stressing that she had sacrificed and suffered alongside him during his difficult years.
“If he tries to abandon me for another woman after he becomes more stable in life, may the gods deal with him on my behalf,” she declared.
She went further to demand GHS100,000 in compensation if the relationship ends, insisting that the river deity should not spare him should he choose another woman over her.
The video has since sparked heated debates on social media, with many questioning the role of traditional beliefs in relationships and the risks of making emotional covenants that involve spiritual forces.
