In a chilling case that has shocked Ohio, a man allegedly arranged the murder of his pregnant girlfriend on the very day she was due to give birth — just days after asking his boss for bereavement leave in anticipation of her death.
Authorities say Kayvon Warren, 30, conspired with two accomplices, Robert Ervin, 20, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22, to k!ll 26-year-old India Kinamore at her Colerain Township home on March 4, 2023.
Prosecutors revealed that Warren had pressured Kinamore to have an abortion due to financial struggles and a relationship with another woman. When she refused, he allegedly plotted her murder.
On the morning of her due date, Warren and his accomplices allegedly broke into Kinamore’s home around 6 a.m., staging the murder as a burglary gone wrong.
Kinamore was shot and killed inside her home, robbing her and her unborn child of life.
“This should have been one of the happiest days of India’s life,” said Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich.
“Instead, the father of her child conspired with two others to k!ll her. It’s heartbreaking. My office will see that justice is done for both India and her baby.”
Detectives spent months gathering evidence through phone records, financial documents, and witness interviews, eventually leading to the trio’s indictment.
Warren faces 13 counts, including aggravated murder, burglary, and felony assault.
Ervin and Suggs also face weapons charges.
Warren remains in custody without bail. Ervin is jailed on $300,000 bond, while details of Suggs’ bail conditions remain unclear.
If convicted, all three men could face life imprisonment.
