A young Nigerian man has been left heartbroken and in tears after discovering that his girlfriend of five years was allegedly cheating on him with his close friend.
The distraught man, who had invested heavily in the relationship, revealed that he had been the one sponsoring his girlfriend’s university education, feeding, and lifestyle. Despite his sacrifices, he caught her in an incriminating situation with his friend — right inside the house he pays rent for.
In a sorrowful post shared on social media, the man expressed his pain:
“My 5 years relationship just ended like that. This girl na person wey I dey send go school. 3 years in the university, 300 Level. I caught her cheating in my own house I’m using my own money to pay my house rent. My lifetime investment, all my millions na on top this girl head….”
The story quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from netizens. While some sympathized with him, others advised him to move on and stop dwelling on his losses.
