Former BBNaija winner, Phyna, has given fans and well-wishers an update on the ongoing saga with Dangote Group regarding her sister’s tragic accident.
Recall that on August 13, 2025, Phyna’s younger sister, Ruth, was struck by a Dangote truck, leading to the amputation of her left leg. The incident sparked public outrage and calls for accountability from the company.
In a recent Instagram post, Phyna shared a screenshot of a message from Dangote Group representatives, confirming their readiness to support Ruth’s continued medical care.
The message read:
“We are happy your family are also liaising with the medical team handling Ruth. Please note that we are ready to positively consider all options necessary for treatment of Ruth as soon as she is certified fit to travel.”
Phyna, in her caption, expressed gratitude to everyone who spoke up on her behalf, noting that the collective outcry contributed to the positive response from Dangote Group.
She wrote:
“Thank you to everyone that lent their voice. We pray they keep to it. We will not forget to update you all, my helpers.”
The development comes after weeks of tension between the reality star, activist Verydarkman (VDM), and Dangote Group over responsibility for Ruth’s medical treatment and justice for the accident.
