A heated street drama unfolded recently when a Nigerian man confronted a prophet he accused of scamming him with a fake prophecy, after allegedly collecting ₦3,000 in return.

The incident, captured in a viral video shared by user @remah234 on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), has since sparked widespread conversation online.

In the clip, the visibly angry man can be heard calling out the cleric:

“This is the prophet that prophesied fake prophecy for me and he collected ₦3,000. This man came to me and gave me fake prophecy.”

According to the man, the prophet approached him a few days earlier, demanded the money, and delivered a prophecy that turned out to be false.

As the confrontation escalated, the man firmly blocked the prophet from leaving, forcing him to stay and face the accusations. Onlookers quickly gathered around, trying to calm the situation and prevent it from spiraling out of control.

The dramatic video has since gone viral, attracting hundreds of comments from Nigerians who shared mixed reactions—ranging from criticism of self-styled prophets to warnings about the dangers of paying for spiritual revelations.
