In a shocking incident making waves online, a young house help was caught stealing her employer’s foreign currency and hiding it in the most unusual places — inside her menstrual pad and a cream container.
The disturbing case came to light after a video surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), shared by user @ChuksEricE. In the footage, the house help is seen being confronted by her employers after suspicions of missing money arose.
In the viral clip, she was made to cut open a cream container with a knife, revealing wads of dollar bills tucked inside. To the shock of many, she also unwrapped her menstrual pad, where more money had been hidden.
At one point in the recording, the visibly nervous house help pleaded:
“I can explain, please.”
But her plea did little to calm her furious employers, who had already witnessed the extent of her actions.
The video has triggered mixed reactions online. While some condemned the house help’s actions, others pointed out the risks of hiring strangers without proper background checks.
