Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Mohbad, has disclosed that he paid a pathologist ₦16 million for his son's second autopsy. Aloba made this revelation during a TikTok live session, insisting that the payment was made in two tranches, with ₦16 million being the initial payment and an additional ₦2 million spent later.
This development comes after an independent autopsy and forensic medical review failed to determine Mohbad's cause of death. A Coroner’s Court magistrate in Ikorodu, Lagos State, had granted permission for the second autopsy in June 2024.
Aloba's claim has sparked interest, with some people previously speculating that the payment was ₦12 million. However, Aloba stands by his statement, challenging the pathologist to deny the claim.
